A workers’ compensation hearing occurs at the Industrial Commission. The Industrial Commission is the adjudicating body that’s part of the Worker’s Compensation System. Their job is to determine what disputed issues should be allowed, or part of a claim.
Things that they determine are if compensation should be paid at the claim, if treatment should be paid in the claim, or if the claim in and of itself should be allowed, or an additional condition that’s requested should be allowed in part of the claim.
