Danielle Harris is part of the Harris family, where the Harris Firm gets its name. She focuses a great deal on both the workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability sides of the practice, helping each and every one of her clients have the ability to find a brighter future after they have been injured. Both Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability process can be tough and confusing to navigate, but Danielle finds pride in using her experience with these cases to help her clients feel more confident moving forward.
The Harris Firm is not a new place for Danielle-she grew up around the firm. Her father is an attorney, so when she was a young child she saw the impact that one could have helping people in the role of an attorney. She grew up seeing her father helping those who were in a position of frustration and confusion, and she decided from a young age that this is what she wanted to do as well.
Danielle is active in the worker’ compensation community. She is the chair of the Cincinnati Bar Associations Workers’ Compensation Section and also is a member of the Ohio State Bar Associations Workers’ Compensation section’s Industrial Commission Subcommittee.
Outside of work, Danielle’s passion for helping people does not stop. She has a sister with special needs, so the idea of being able to help people through difficult times is something that has been instilled inside of her. This desire to help is a quality that Danielle is very proud of and drives her through her decisions every day, inside and outside of work. She is a natural people person, so she truly enjoys the interactions that she has with her clients. She loves to get to know them so that she can better help them through the legal process. The more that she can help, the better the outcomes that she sees, so Danielle will do whatever it takes to help her clients reach their best possible outcomes.
Outside of work, Danielle’s passion does not stop. She takes this desire to help and focuses it toward a non-profit called Halom House, in which she is on the board. Halom House is a non-profit that helps to provide housing for people with developmental delays. Through this work, she gets to expand her reach for helping people.
Danielle does like having some personal time as well. In order to relax after long days of helping others, Danielle enjoys running, spending time with her husband and children, and watching sports. You can find her cheering on the Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State football, and Indiana University basketball.
Danielle earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from Indiana University. Following this achievement, she went to Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where she earned her law degree. She is now AV-rated and is admitted to practice in Ohio. She is a part of the Cincinnati Bar Association, as well as the Ohio Association of Justice.
On behalf of The Harris Firm in its entirety, Danielle is proud that they all work as a team and do their best to help their clients navigate the complex systems that are workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability.
