Permanent Total Disability is a form of compensation that’s available under the Ohio Workers Compensation System for individuals that are permanently unable to return to the workforce in any capacity due to their work‐related injuries.
If an individual is found to be permanently and totally disabled, he or she will be paid for the rest of their life under the Workers Compensation System.
While Permanent Total Disability is reserved for only the most severely injured workers in the state of Ohio, individuals who are permanently unable to return to the workforce as a result of their injuries, may be entitled to this form of compensation, if they’re found to be unable to return to the workforce.
